MLD is a gentle therapy that stimulates the lymphatic system to reduce swelling and support the body’s healing. Unlike traditional massage, it uses a gentle skin stretching stroke and rhythmic movements of the skin rather than muscle manipulation. This technique helps reduce swelling and inflammation, relieve pain and discomfort, and improve overall wellness. Sessions are gentle and calming, often leaving clients with a sense of deep relaxation. It is a subtle yet effective way to help the body restore balance.

120MIN-$155

Deep Tissue Barefoot Massage (Ashiatsu) is a comfortable yet effective approach to deep tissue massage. Designed to work both fascia and tight muscles, this is the massage for those who crave deep pressure without pain. Instead of hands-on deep tissue massage where you are holding your breath to get through or wishing your therapist would go deeper, barefoot massage is customized to the individual. Using overhead bars and a strap for support, the therapist can control their pressure and use gravity to their advantage. Stretching can be added as well if needed. If you're in pain or just need some stress relief, then look no further.

Barefoot Massage Helps with:

Intra-Oral for TMJ Disorders
First Visit- 45MIN-$95
Follow Up-30 MIN-$95

Intra Oral Massage focuses on the muscles of and around the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), as well as the head and neck. Intra Oral Massage works the muscles on the inside of the mouth, which often are ignored and can be the cause of jaw pain, headaches and neck pain. Due to the complex nature of the TMJ joint, intra oral massage is a gentle alternative for managing jaw pain.

Usually, 4-6 visits are needed initially and then can be spaced out. This depends on the individual and severity of the condition.

Intra Oral is helpful for:

Jaw Pain

Headaches/Migraines.

Muscle Meltdown- Hot Stones.

60MIN-$100

90MIN-$130

Tired, achy muscles love heat.

Using CoreStones, specially shaped hot stones to melt muscle tension and reduce stress. This is a great choice for pain relief, tension reduction and relaxation.

Melt your tension away like butter and reduce inflammation. The difference between a CoreStone and a traditional hot stone is that the CoreStone is an extension of the therapist's hand and is used to work the muscles deeply with out causing trauma to the tissue. Using heat allows the muscles and nervous system to relax, allowing for deep, soothing pressure.

(New Clients must fill out their intake forms before arriving for their appointment.)

2

Cupping Therapy.

60MIN- $90

Cupping therapy is an ancient modality that dates back to the Egyptians. Cupping is considered a negative pressure therapy. Instead of a regular massage where compression is used, cupping gently or intensely pulls the tissues apart. It can be used for sports injuries, orthopedic injuries, general pain relief and so much more.

Jamie- Barefoot Massage

I am very pleased with the depth of pressure and ability to access stubborn tension from years of weightlifting. I will be back!

Joe- Lymphatic Drainage

I have been going to Kate for years. She has a great touch and is always friendly and professional. Yesterday I tried a lymphatic drainage which she has started to offer. I was really fatigued, had soreness in my neck and constant congestion.I have been plagued by these symptoms for awhile. I was up to trying anything new for help. The process was very relaxing and soothing. I felt well rested by the end.
WOW! Later in the evening I was feeling pretty well. This morning was amazing! I feel clear headed, no congestion and quite energetic. I cannot say enough about this process.
I would highly recommend giving it a try. It is worth it even if your feeling fine and a great alternative to a normal massage.

Jerry- Barefoot Massage

I’ve had massages from different places, even on a beach and this was one of the best I’ve had. I went with the ashiatsu massage to try something new and different. Usual deep tissue massages feel too aggressive and sharp. This was deep pressure but in a better broad sweeping motion that my upper back needed. Prior to this session I had back discomfort turning my head to look behind me and I expressed that. She understood and did a fantastic job. Now I feel like I have my full range of movement back.

About

Kate Scheele LMT, CMLDT, is a Fort Wayne native. After a car accident in

2018 that resulted in lingering pain, she enrolled in massage school as a

way to help others.  Her desire was to share the benefits she received from massage with others experiencing ongoing pain. Since graduating from Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics in 2020, she has added other specialties to her practice.

These include lymphatic training through both the Vodder Academy (Level 1), and manual lymphatic drainage certification through Klose Training. Her barefoot training was obtained through the Center for Barefoot Massage. Kate received her intra oral training through Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, as Indiana law requires this training. She is passionate about helping client's manage pain and stress so that they can do what they enjoy.
